iMETland at 13th IWA Specialized Conference on Small Water and Wastewater Systems

This Conference is part of the activities of the IWA Specialist Groups on Small Water and Wastewater Systems and on Resources-Oriented Sanitation. This event is a continuation of the 12th IWA Specialized Conference on SWWS and the 4th IWA Specialized Conference on ROS which took place in Muscat Oman.

 

The Conference brings together researchers, engineers, water practitioners from academia, industry, water utilities, public authorities and administration to exchange know how and experiences. Within the Conference knowledge and expertise will be disseminated on innovative systems, technologies and processes which are applied at small and decentralized regions for the management of water and wastewater. The whole water supply chain is considered from water abstraction up to treated wastewater disposal and reuse. Furthermore, resource oriented sanitation as a route to sustainable and ecologically sound sanitation is discussed.

 

On 15th of September, iMETland innovation will be featured in a dedicated parallel session: “Full scale MET-assisted bio lters for urban wastewater treatment: the H2020 METland project”, by A. Esteve-Nuñez, J.J. Salas.
